Cork | Recuperation
Upon arrival into your chosen airport you will be greeted by your Lang Atholl Representative at the arrivals gate. Here your representative will assist you with your luggage and lead you to your vehicle which will be your transportation throughout your time in Ireland.
Dependant on your arrival location (Cork preferred to reduce travel duration) you will make your journey to the beautiful city of Cork. With the backdrops of the MacGillycuddy Reeks (mountain range) and set on the banks of Lough Leane the town of Killarney is a favourite with many people searching tranquility and the outdoors. Within the town itself there is a vibrant live music and nightlife scene where you can sing and dance the night away in the traditional Irish manner.
Your accommodation for the evening will be Hayfield Manor Hotel. Located only 15 minutes drive away from the airport, the hotel is a perfect retreat for recovery and dining.
Old Head Golf links| Killarney | Kinsale
On day two you will awake in Cork where you will be greeted by your Lang Atholl Representative within the lobby of Hayfield Manor Hotel.
You will depart to the Old Head Golf Links where you will play this marvellous links course on route to Killarney. Laying two miles in the Atlantic Ocean The Head golf links lays in Kinsale and is a stunning and unique location to enjoy a world class golf course.
With the backdrops of the MacGillycuddy Reeks (mountain range) and set on the banks of Lough Leane the town of Killarney is a favourite with many people searching tranquility and the outdoors. Within the town itself there is a vibrant live music and nightlife scene where you can sing and dance the night away in the traditional Irish manner.
In the evening you will dine at the award winning restaurant within the the premises of a luxury 5 star hotel located overlooking the beautiful and scenic famous lakes of Killarney. Leading hotel and resort in Ireland, you will be be able to relax and unwind through various activities offered within the property.
Killarney | Tralee Golf Club (Old Course)
On day three you will once more be greeted by your Lang Atholl Representative within your hotel lobby.
On this day you will have a longer journey to Tralee Golf Club. Arnold Palmer said of Tralee Golf Club “Never have I come across a more ideal piece of land to build a golf course” and it was here that he created this wonderful links in 1984.
After your round on Tralee you will venture back to Killarney. Your final stop of the day will be the The Killarney National Park created when Muckross Estate was donated to the Irish Free State in 1932.
You will return to The Europe Hotel for a further night of retreat.
Killarney | Ballybunion Golf Club (Old Course)
On day three you will once more meet your representative within the lobby of your hotel as you will be travelling to Ballybunion Old Course. Regarded as one of the top 20 golf courses in the world, the Old Course at Ballybunion has had a turbulent history. Created in 1897 as a 9 hole golf course it required a sizeable investment less than two decades later in order for the club to remain in business. Now the course has been fully redesigned by Tom Watson and is regarded in extremely high regards as one of the finest examples of links golf to be found in the world.
After your round you will make your journey south once more to Killarney for your final evening in the town and Hotel.
Lahinch (Old) | Cliffs of Moher | Galway
On Day 5 you will meet your representative to depart the town of Killarney. You will travel north via the city of Limerick passing through Ennis and into Co. Clare. Here you will venture to the spectacular Clare coastline with views of the Burren.
You will arrive at the town of Lahinch and the spectacular Lahinch Old Course, home to the 2019 Irish Open. Founded in 1892 this ancient links is nestled within the natural sand dunes which dominate this entire course.
From Lahinch you will continue north stopping off at The Cliffs of Moher, the most visited natural attraction in Ireland. It is very easy to see why as these majestic cliffs rise 155 meters (509ft) out of the Atlantic Ocean below. The site has been featured on the big screen and silver screen on many occasions. The most famous of note is Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince.
From Clare you will continue north into famous Irish town of Galway where you will reside for the evening. Your Accommodation for the evening will be Glenlo Abbey which has been welcoming guests since 1740.
Bru Na Boinne | Dublin
You will awake on Day 6 with some time to enjoy the town of Galway before you depart for the Capital of Ireland, Dublin.
Your day will begin with a trip to ancient town of Drogheda where you will have the chance to visit the Neolithic site of Bru Na Boinne. Previously the home home to farmers and families before Stonehenge and Pyramids.
Your accommodation for the evening will be The Shelbourne Hotel. This stunning 5 star hotel with a central location, overlooking the famous St Stephen’s Green.
On your final full day in Ireland you will be greeted by your Lang Atholl representative and your hand selected Blue Badge guide who will take you on a tour of Dublin.
You will see sights such as Dublin Castle, St Patrick’s Cathedral, The Kilmainham Gaol and The Guinness Store House before taking your final stop of the day at The Brazen Head Bar, the oldest pub in Ireland.
You will have the chance to explore some of this wonderful city in the evening and even possibly sample some of its famous nightlife.
Your base for your final stay will be once again The Shelbourne Hotel; Significantly Convenient location in order to explore the city’s biggest attractions.
Transfer to Dublin International Airport for Departure.
Your Lang Atholl representative will meet you for the final time in the lobby of your hotel and transport you to Dublin International Airport in leisurely time for departure.
