You will arrive into Inverness International Airport. A member of the Lang Atholl Experience team will be there to welcome you into Scotland and transport you to Boath House.
Boath House, widely renowned for its style, quality and fine cuisine. This 5 star hotel has an award winning garden and is nestled on the Moray Firth coast in the majestic Scottish Highlands. The inviting restaurant offers fine views out over the lawns down to the lake through its large French windows glimpses of the wild flower meadow and walled garden can be seen in the distance.

14th October 2018:
GlenFiddich, Macallan and Dalwhinnnie
You will be collected by the Lang Atholl representative to begin your whisky tour after your calming night at Boath House.
Due to seasonal times changing for the whisky distilleries, GlenDronach is not available to tour on this day.
The valley William so carefully chose, the century-old traditions, and the warmest of welcomes remain unchanged to this day. When you visit Glenfiddich, you’ll discover tall copper tuns, great wooden washbacks and stone-walled warehouses filled with earthy, aged aromas. We are proud to be one of the last independent distilleries in Scotland, with the freedom to maintain our tradition of innovation with a pioneering spirit.
You will then head to the famous Macallan Distillery which is in the heart of the Macallan Estate. Explore the history and process of the Macallan whisky with friendly and knowledgeable guides who are ready to take you on a journey into the past of whisky production.
Dalwhinnie Distillery is home to a famous Highland Single Malt Whisky renowned for its gentle flavours accentuated with notes of heather honey, citrus, vanilla and sweet malt. The site of the distillery was chosen for its access to clear spring water and abundant peat from the surrounding bogs. Set in splendid mountain scenery at the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, Dalwhinnie is the highest distillery in Scotland at 1164 feet above sea level.
Set in a magical setting on the Isle of Skye, Kinloch Lodge is a charming, comfortable and discreetly luxurious hotel with wonderful restaurant and chef. You will stay here for the evening and dine at one of the top Scottish restaurants with head chef Marcello Tully.

Portree, Old Man Of Storr and Kilt Rock
You will travel to Talisker distillery on the Isle of Skye, set on the shores of Loch Harport with dramatic views of the Cuillins. This alluring, full-bodied single malt whisky is so easy to enjoy, and like Skye itself, so hard to leave.
You will enjoy a day of sightseeing taking in the famous sites such as Portree, Old Man of Storr and Kilt Rock.
Ackergill Tower, one of the most sought after hotels in the world. Purposely low profile and totally private, this stunning 15th century Scottish Castle is truly an idyllic backdrop for all of the most important and memorable of life’s events. Situated on the edge of the bay, the warm and friendly atmosphere inside the Tower, coupled with the care and attention they apply ensures that every day is dreamlike.
16th October 2018:
Highland Park Distillery and Skara Brae
You will be transported to John O’Groats ferry terminal where you will take the ferry over to Orkney. Collection in Orkney will be arranged by one of our esteemed partners.
You will tour the Highland Park Distillery which stands proudly in Orkney’s remote and remarkable landscape. You can meet the modern-day Viking descendants who make the whisky and experience the effort and pride that goes into every cask.
You will then travel to the beautiful archaeological site on the shores of the bay of Skaill, Skara Brae. It is one of Orkneys most popular attractions and is accorded the same status as the pyramids in Egypt.
You will return to the Ferry and stay a further night in Ackergill where you can relax ffro your busy day touring Orkney.
